On August 18, 2018, bio-home created a Malaysian record for the most number of participants in a hand towel washing event.

The fun-filled event, which was witnessed by officials from The Malaysian Book of Records, has attracted over 725 participants. They were representatives from 100 kindergartens and 10 primary schools which bio-home had collaborated with throughout the year, educating the children about the environment, fostering recycling initiatives and teaching them life-skills such as helping with home chores.

To create the record, every participant was given a task to wash a white hand towel with a stain on it, using bio-home laundry detergent, until the stain was completely removed.

The record was achieved in less than half an hour. The ease of removing the stain showcased bio-home laundry detergent’s gentle yet effective cleaning power.
